Muay Thai
Muay Thai is a form of kickboxing originating in Thailand. My Kru (Thai for teacher) taught me "old school" Muay Thai which includes eight weapons ( knee's, elbow's, kick's, punches) but enhances them with a ninth weapon - the mind. This practice is physically intense and burns large amounts of calories. Best for the person who refuses to stop moving.
Yoga
Yoga originated in India. I teach Hatha Yoga - a practice originating from classical poses that is characterized by longer pose holds and attention to alignment, breath, and the mind. Classes are customized to the individual and can range from relaxed and restorative to physically challenging. Best for anyone and everyone.
Meditation
Meditation is training of the mind encompassing many methods beyond sitting in silence. It is typically relaxing and involves minimal physical exertion. Ideal for those contemplating big questions, looking to increase performance, wanting to change situational responses and only looking for the mental aspect.
